Monday Room Board | Modern Eclectic Bedroom
It all begins with a paint color. When I first laid eyes on Farrow and Ball’s Oval Room Blue, I imagined a gorgeous tone-on-tone bedroom oasis. I personally love playing with a monochromatic color scheme and was excited to dive in on this design, with this understated and soft blue at the forefront.
Many times, people often shy away from the word eclectic. Seems like that could go towards the trendy “boho” or might seem cluttered and hap-hazard. Eclectic, to me, means a mixture of old and new, and playing with many shapes and texture. I am a big fan of mixing antique beauties that have an iconic past with modern pieces to help keep it in the present day and give it new life!
From the modern table lamps, nightstands, and bench to the vintage ocean art prints, English shaker style chaise, and a vintage chrome nesting side table, there is truly a mixture here that creates a lot of interest. An extra favorite detail is the ribbon artwork from Angela Chrusciaki Blehm.
